Modular Enclosure Panels
Bolt these panels together to create a room, enclosure or shelter for a wide variety of applications. Use them to provide temporary workshops, to protect equipment, to contain noise or to provide security. The “room” can be built on your concrete pad, or you can have us build the room onto a trailer for ultimate portability. The system bolts together. No drilling or sawing is needed unless you want to customize the panels for plumbing or conduit entry.
The panels are made of 16 gauge galvanized steel. You can mix and match these panels to make the room fit your needs. Each panel measures 44” wide, 117” tall. Choose from the following wall panels:
- Blank Panel (no windows or doors)
- Window Panel (includes clear polycarbonate ¼” thick window + gasket shipped loose)
- Door Panel includes door, hinges, frame, door latch, stiffeners and as loose parts)
After choosing the wall panels, we will provide the appropriate roof and end panels needed to finish the enclosure.
This enclosure was built literally around a water treatment system and a diesel sandblast system. The enclosure was needed to isolate the noise from the diesel engine, and the water treatment plant needed to be protected from freezing. Eight wall panels per side were used to create this 30 foot long enclosure. One side of the enclosure was mostly blank panels, but the other side used 5 door panels to allow easy access to the equipment.
Use this modular panel system to build an enclosure on a trailer. Here is an example of a portable system that was built onto a 53 foot drop deck trailer. Doors and windows were placed where we wanted them by mixing up the layout to meet the needs of the project.
Add insulation to the inside of the wall panels if you want to keep protect the contents from freezing or excessive heat.
The left photo shows inexpensive and readily available 1" thick Styrofoam board that was used to protect a water tank from freezing. The boards are easily cut to size with a utility knife, and can be fastened to the wall by adhesive, double sided tape or ribs like shown in this example. "Open cell" - Sound deadening foam (on right) can be used in extreme instances when loud machinery or engine noise needs to be contained inside the enclosure.
This backup gen-set will be protected from weather and temperatures in short order. The photo shows how a variety of panels are easily erected and bolted together. The panels are flanged on all four sides to allow them to be attached to each other, or to a concrete pad. The flanges are made with slotted holes every 12" to allow you to mate panels together and to easily attach conduit or plumbing by using off the shelf clamps or straps.
This photo shows blank, door and window panels and one end/roof panel. The door and window panels come in kit form, only needing fasteners and assembly by you. All other needed components are supplied with the panels.
We admire most the simple solutions to difficult problems. You will find these panels to be very useful in solving problems on your projects. Give us a call the next time you are faced with the need for a custom enclosure.
